A time when i was being plotted against was back when i was 13 years old. Luckily, the plot was not serious and was only meant as a joke. The plot was suppose to happen on April Fool's day, in which i was suppose to be surprises by my friend. The surprise was suppose to be that i would be rewarded for my academic accomplishments by having a gift. Not knowing what was going to happen, i went to my friend's house. Everything seemed to go fine. As i was about to be given the gift, i was asked by my friend to sit on a chair and wait for my gift to come. Instead, as i went to lean back on the chair, one part of the edge felt loose and i fell. I felt embarrased, but i took the joke in stride. By the way, there was no gift. This only happened because my friend wanted me to make me feel better, at least make me a little bit more loose.

When I was younger I moved to a knew school and made a friend the first day. She already had her group of friends and I fit in quickly. My friend noticed that after a while her group of friends were becoming closer to me than to her and that made her angry. She started to make fun of me in a malicious way. Her retinue also
began to make fun of me. This caused me to recede and find new friends to confide in.I felt intimidated by the girl because she had the power to make them all make fun of me. At first i had no idea she did it on purpose but as i grew older those same people from that group told me that she told them all lies about me. I talked to her every once in a while but never hungout with her again.

someone who i thought was my best friend plotted something against me. but i dont want to write about it. what she did was low and stupid. that event opened up my eyes. now i know that nobody can be trusted no matter how well you think you know them. after that i stopped hanging out with her.

I think it is interesting that all of your betrayal stories lead to lessons that you've learned from the experiences about peer pressure, about yourselves, about human nature perhaps. What do you think Hamlet will learn or has learned about betrayal? What do you think Shakespeare thought?

I personally have never encountered someone that has plotted against me, but by no means doubt that there has been someone that done it. I believe that plotting (in malicious ways) is like first nature to humans, is like breathing, and all we need are some sequence of events to make us gasp for this breath. Like Ashley and Luz said they were plotted against by very close friends who might have been jealous. Envy, jealousy, anger, revenge, desire, hate, these are all human emotions that drive betrayal. As long as we feel these emotions then there will be betrayal. We can plot against somebody intentionally or subconsciously, we can even plot against ourselves. Betrayal is something that we have to learn how live with and can’t always hold against someone because we all learn from it.
