Hamlet's POV

King Claudius reunites Rosencrantz and Guildenstern with their old school
chum, his nephew, Hamlet. Hamlet welcomes them warmly, although he
suspects they are there to do his uncle’s bidding.

Write Hamlet’s diary entry about the meeting.

Today I became reacquainted with my childhood friends and it felt very good to meet them after all the problems i've been facing , seeing them has been a good way to keep my mind off of things just for a while. My uncle/ father/ new King of Denmark brought them before me today. Although now that I think of it, why would he do that? Could ‘tis be true that he is trying to distract me from something, something I am too blind to see. I will have to investigate this even further, I bet I can make Rosencrantz and Guildenstern speak, they’ll surely tell me what my uncle put them up to. Unless they are too behind this all and wish to savatage our friendship for just a mere recognition of thy king. They were acting pretty weird whispering between each other as if wanting to tell me something and did not dare. On the second though they have always acted pretty weird ever since I’ve met but how can I be so sure that this time was the case. I must keep a close eye on them and if ‘tis true what my imagination has driven me to believe then so be it, for if my friends shall rather betray me then their lives is what I will take.

Dear Diary,

I met with my dearest friends guildenstern and rosencrantz today, friends... funny i call them that... maybe foe's, trifling friends who take the side of the "so seem to'ppear all most powerful king". The brother of my father and husband of my mother. Incestry, i swear! And so the dear fiends of mine called by this messenger come before this fishmonger who so called takes the throne of thy father and holds half the claim, him to only be half the human my father was. So the only friends i thought i had come to thy uncle bidding, well so be it then i will have my venge on two as well, for no one will have me in mockery. I am your friend or your enemy. But i"ll keep you close to kill you fast! Think i'm too blind to see what you have planned for thy son/nephew! i will seek the truth even if the means are too spill the blood of those i thougt dear!

Deareth Diary-eth,

You'll never guess who showed up today in my presence: Rosencratz and Guildenstern. Those two are as eccentric as ever with their line of questioning. I haven't seen them since school. However, I wonder if my "friends" could be acting for the King? 'Tis it possible I'm being set up? Maybe because thy sovereign reign is halting? I don't know-eth as of yet.

But I'll sayeth this. If mine "friends" dare to oppose me, they will findeth a fate as swift as a sword through wood. I shant let them get the best of me. I'll keep quite the close eye on them. Acting as the front to curs'ed (cursed with accent on ed) divinity... I haven't heard of such a shallow thing. Humph. I guess I'll just wait and see what lies ahead. I might have to resort to less savory actions should they get wise...

Elizabeth,

Your Hamlet seems to be very suspicious of R & G. He sounds mighty smart too!

Stephanie,

I love the use of fishmonger. Your Hamlet seems to know exactly what to do. Do you think Hamlet was that clear or was he confused? What scene would you point to from the text to prove your opinion?

Today I was finally reunited with my long time friends Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. We have known each other ever since we were little and it has been a long time since we last saw each other. After spending some time with them it felt like old times again and I really missed it. But lately I have seen Ros and Guil talking to my murderer of a Step Father and I am really wondering if they are up to something or are they really just getting along. But since I have killed Polonius and the king knows that I know his dark secret they might just be plotting to kill me, I’m going to have to be careful when I am around them. Now my so called father says that he is going to have to send me to England with Ros and Guil, and won’t reveal to me the real reason why he is sending me. I know it has to do something with me slaying Polonius but I will find out the real reason. So we are on the boat and before our departure I noticed that Ros received some letters from the king. I wonder what they could be. When Ros and Guil were sleeping I decided to sneak and take a look at what the letters the king gave to them. As it turns out the letter was asking England to have my head when we arrive there. So I switched the letters with my own telling England to take Ros and Guils heads instead of mine. When we arrived there Ros and Guil was taking by security and killed.
